> 24 hourI used it to clean up the threads in my camper hot water heater anode rod hole. The threads had become so crusted with mineral deposits that the new anode rod would not thread in far enough and would seep whenever there was pressure in the tank. After using this tap to clean up the threads, the new rod sealed perfectly.

> 24 hourWorked perfectly except that square end is larger than you might imagine. I had to use a socket to drive it into the pipe fitting.

> 24 hourFirst, used wire brush to remove soft/loose material. Then, used butt tap to clean and dress threads on natural gasline tee before installing new quick connect for portable generator. Yellow gas pipe tape used in new assembly with no leaks after initial install. All work done with permits and inspection.

> 24 hourI used the tap to freshen threads in my aluminum intake. A heater hose fitting I bought messed the threads up. Shipping was fast and the tap worked fine.
