Race Face Chester Pedal

Good sized pedals. Keep out of water though, I left it in the rain. And the screws seemed a little rusted.

Sturdy and great color

Pretty disappointed in these flat pedals, considering there are 1k+ reviews and 5 stars. The pedals arent actually flat. The leading and trailing edges are below the center pivot point, and my shoes constantly slip/rotate on that higher pivot point, even with the screws for grip. The MYRRZH (or whatever they are) knockoff pedals are just as light, theyre actually flat so they grip MUCH better and are half the price.

I ordered the RaceFace Grips 1st to match my bike and tried to go the cheaper with the pedals. After 3 failed attempts, I decided to go with RaceFace Chester pedals and I’m glad I did. The color match perfectly and very grippy! My foot is not slipping of this pedal.

I ordered these for the color as Im developing a color scheme for My bike. I also wanted more pedal surface. The spikes really add to the grip under foot. I like them much and had wonderful communication with the team that make these pedals. Buy again ? Yes !!

so far they are exactly as expected. we will see how they wear over time, but they appear to be high quality pedals at a reasonable price

Theyre popular for a reason. Excellent quality. Bearings feel new after two seasons of hard use. The $45 (on average) cost is rather high considering the pin screws arent stainless steel & rust quickly. Our son has Chester pedals on one MTB & IMRider pedals on another. The price difference is significant & quality pretty close (see IMRider review)... but the Race Face Chester is hard to beat.

I put these on my Specialized FatBoy Fat tire bike just to give it a POP of color. The flat pedals are awesome for riding in the sand, trails or road. I love the spikes, they are super grippy.

I liked these pedals well enough for the price; but then the spindle snapped and caused a crash. These are dangerous. I wont buy them again, beware.
