Greater than one weekOkay if youre looking for a micro sized CB that has the newly FCC approved FM mode at an affordable price, this is it! Yes it doesnt have many frills and extras like more pricey radios have but it has all the basics you need. And the best part is, its not much bigger than a deck of playing cards and will easily fit in any make of new car, truck or SUV. I tested my CB-27 Pro on a trusted watt meter and out of the box it is producing 3.6 watts, also its had good on air audio reports from other CB operators. Thats about what you can expect from any new stock modern FCC approved CB sold today. Yes its advertised to have 4 watts, but the factory always sets them just under the 4 watt FCC limit so they dont run afoul of FCC rules. And yes, this is a fully legal FCC approved CB. Just be sure to use it with a good antenna and it should work well for you. Remember, a $1000 radio hooked to a $5 antenna will preform and sound like a $5 radio!

Greater than one weekSooooo tiny!!! But it’s got power. It’s no cobra 25 but it’s a great radio for its size. If you life in a poor cell reception area and you want a easy to install cb to talk to trucks or another cb equipped car this unit is perfect

> 3 dayI had CBs installed in my home and all vehicles many years ago when they cost a lot of money and everyone was using them. I will be traveling by truck towing my motorcycle in a week and needed a means of communication with the other members of my group. When I first plugged this in I was a little disappointed because controlling squelch and other functions is not just turning a knob but a two step process using the channel buttons. But after my 11 year old explained it to me Im fine. The mic connection looks a bit weak but it is working. We installed a 28 inch antenna and I did not hear anything. I expected to hear a lot of chatter - nothing. Then while riding my bike and my husband and grandson in the truck we started talking and even from a 3 mile distance we could hear each other great. This unit is very small, fits great in the front of my truck. I recommend it.

Greater than one weekThis CB radio is ultra small and compact and can be mounted virtually anywhere. Settings and features are all changed through the four buttons that are on the front of the radio. Through the buttons you can adjust the squelch level, quick access to channel 9 and 19, and scan through the channels for activity. There’s a dial to change the channels from 1 to 40. They include in the package the radio itself, microphone, mounting bracket with screws, spare fuse, user manual, along with washers and mounting screws. The radio has a built-in cigarette lighter plug for power. It has everything you need to install this radio and get it on the air. Audio was clear and I even got pretty good signal reports as well. I didn’t experience any problems with it and performed satisfactory. Due to the compact size and ease of use, this would be a great choice for any CB communications.

> 3 dayGood CB Radio, nothing complicated about it as far as functions go. I would recomend it for offroad trail communication. I would also recomend adding an external speaker or using your car speakers with an aux cord as it is slightly hard to hear if theres a lot of road noise.

> 3 dayI love most everything about this radio. Good size, great build quality, easy to use. There are two things I would change. One, give me a regular mic port, so I can change mics if mine breaks. Two, that hanger system for the mic? Garbage. Switch to a button or magnetic holder. Other than that. Buy it.

> 3 dayRadio is perfect. Its very compact! I am not securing it but stowing in the console! With the bracket, I have hung it on my Wrangler latches over the passenger dash. Its out of the way with handset over the mirror!
