Substantial plus for those of us who regularly use MacBooks on a flat desk. Great design and it looks cool too. Reasonably priced.

I use my macbook pro as my home machine and needed a stand to elevate the computer. After looking into several laptop stands and reading the reviews, I decided to go with this stand from Rain. This stand turned out to be exactly what I needed. It elevates the laptop to an ergonomic height, is sturdy, and has rubber pads so there is no chance of scratches. The brushed aluminum matches my MBP perfectly. There is even a cutout so you can get to the lid latch without raising the laptop off of the stand (some of the earlier pictures on amazon dont show this new updated feature). If you need to elevate your laptop and want a very well designed stand, this is the way to go!

Simple and easy to use its the perfect angle for working on your MBP. Matches the look of the computer as well. Now if only my MBP lasted as long as this stand did.

I have 17 inch laptop and wanted to buy a stand.

Coolest stand EVAR. Have used it with a 13 rMBP and a 15 rMBP. Very sturdy. Plus I used double-sided tape and mounted an Amazon Basics 4-porrt USB 3.0 hub under the shelf.

After looking at this stand on Apples website I started looking to see if I could find it in a store somewhere. I was not able to find it, but I was able to find some other stands that was horrible. Because of that I ordered this stand off Amazon and Im so glad I did. Its a really awesome stand all one pice and holds my 17 inch macbook pro with out any problems. I would recommend this stand to anyone with a laptop.

I came across this product on the Apple site and am ecstatic that I bought it instead of the Apple equivalent. The stand is well made, very sturdy, and grips my 11 MacAir well. I used to get shooting pains up my neck and into the base of my brain that were intolerable. When I bought the laptop stand, I dared to hope the frequency of the pains would diminish. Much to my surprise, they completely disappeared. Kudos to Rain Design!
