I purchased this stand for my Mac Book Pro and it works great and the finish matches my MBP. I used to have my MBP closed attached to a large 27 thunderbolt monitor, but then was finding that my MBP was running slow and it was due to the heat. I purchased this stand allowing me to open up my MBP and use it as a second monitor as well. My MBP now runs perfect and with the laptop open heat dissipates properly. The stand is a perfect height to match my 27 monitor. If it had a lazy susan swivel it would be perfect. Love the stand - matches the other apple product perfectly.

This stand has saved my spine! I was getting very sore from leaning forward and tilting my head down to see my laptop, which I use pretty much every hour that I am at work. I have a 17 MacBook Pro and I could not be more pleased with how easy to use the stand is, how good it looks, and most of all, how it makes me feel at the end of the day. My sore shoulders are gone! One thing I was unsure of before purchasing was how much of a difference it would make for typing. Im happy to report I really like it. No problems with the work I have to do all day.

If you spend a good number of hours at your computer, you definitely need something to raise it to eye level. This stand does the trick - my neck is definitely less sore since I got this stand.

While this stand is a bit on the expensive side, it really is nice. The aluminum looks great with the Macbook, a perfect match, with the coutout on the front exactly matching the lid opening cutout on my 15 MBP. The aluminum is also very good at removing heat from the MacBook and keeps it running cool. Even though the stand is angled, the MPB screen opens enough to be vertical (and even slightly tilted back), though I generally run it in clamshell mode.

The design and quality of the stand is great. It matches the color of my MacBook Pro space grey really well. The only downside is the price. I think it should be a bit lower.

Originally I purchased the griffin elevator from apple and was extremely disappointed with the design as my macbook pro slipped off the stand several times. The mStand design and quality will not disappoint. Dont hesitate if you need a stand for your mac that is environmental friendly, top quality and ascetically appealing buy it.
