> 3 dayThe umbrella is really good, and it folds to become very compact. My wife has used it for over a year, and really likes how it fits nicely in her small purse/bag. She was sad when one of the arms broke, and it was fine as if umbrella lasts a year in windy conditions of New York City - thats quite good, but then my wife reminded me that the item came with lifetime warranty. I was skeptical, as with these items, there is always a catch (for example, the replacement is free but you need to pay $ 10 for shipping). However, I wrote to this company, and within 24 hours I received a response. I sent them a few photos of the broken umbrella, and lo and behold, they approved a free replacement, shipping paid! Very happy with the experience and am uploading the picture of the replacement confirmation, so you know this really happened! I encourage all shoppers to look no further and buy this.

> 3 dayDefinitely a durable umbrella for our bad rainy/windy days which prevents it from inverting or falling in on itself. The umbrella is a little heavier than I expected which makes it not the easiest to travel or hike with especially when you are trying to slim down on weight. My biggest issue is that whenever I want to close the umbrella I have to forcefully push the bottom in which can sometimes hurt a bit.

> 3 dayI was very surprised at the better than expected quality of this Umbrella. Good value for the price. It does not show signs of being a flimsy cheap product, and appears (so far—said without having even used it once yet), to be something that will last and be used for awhile (if I dont lose it first). Love the sunny cloud spotted skies on the underside, make it fun as well as useful. Hope it lives up to its first impression of quality. If it doesnt, I will update later after much use. Am considering a 2nd purchase but will use this one awhile first.

> 3 dayWe live in a city that receives a fair amount of rain and wind during the months of October and March. So, finding an umbrella that would with stand gusts of wind was a priority. I was purchasing this umbrella as a gift for a close friend, her other umbrella (not an Upper Echelon product) gave way to the last windy and rainy day. She definitely loves this umbrella, for several reasons. Im shortening her comments; its well made, sturdy, durable, and is the best umbrella shes ever owned. I know thats a bold statement but, I believe her. Since this umbrella is specifically crafted for higher winds and stormy weather it weighs a bit more than those designed for protection from rain and maybe lower wind storms. I am purchasing several more as gifts for my female friends and one for myself. Upper Echelon has a selection of umbrellas for everyone and their prices are very competitive compared to the other companies I searched. I hope your business grows and stays strong. Sincerely, GCG

Greater than one weekWhen I purchased this umbrella I liked the quality but, decided to put it in my car (for every day use) and buy something smaller for travel (i.e., for my backpack side pocket). This is about 11.5 inches closed and does have a bit of weight to it. But, I think Im going to buy another for travel after purchasing (and returning) another brand with a smaller profile since this is so nice and works so well. Im not a long time user of the umbrella and Ive only had to use it once. But, I can verify this appears to be a quality, well made umbrella. As with most umbrella, you have to work to get it back into its little fabric sleeve. The spring action (for opening) is fast and strong. As Ive read from others it does take a bit of muscle to compress it back down but, any adult or even medium-size child (10 years old +) should be able to handle with no problem.
