The umbrella is really good, and it folds to become very compact. My wife has used it for over a year, and really likes how it fits nicely in her small purse/bag. She was sad when one of the arms broke, and it was fine as if umbrella lasts a year in windy conditions of New York City - thats quite good, but then my wife reminded me that the item came with lifetime warranty. I was skeptical, as with these items, there is always a catch (for example, the replacement is free but you need to pay $ 10 for shipping). However, I wrote to this company, and within 24 hours I received a response. I sent them a few photos of the broken umbrella, and lo and behold, they approved a free replacement, shipping paid! Very happy with the experience and am uploading the picture of the replacement confirmation, so you know this really happened! I encourage all shoppers to look no further and buy this.

It doesnt even rain here but I had to buy this. A rain jacket would make much more sense, but if I open this it just makes me smile. It will probably take a long time to know if this thing will last but it feels pretty solid and operates smoothly. All good.

This umbrella is not very compact and definitely not lightweight. The 2 things I need for travel. Returned.

Very well made. Small enough to fit in purse or suitcase. I bought 2. One for each car. Ready for any unexpected downpour. I got one black, and 1 black with sky inside. One for my wife and one for myself.

Beautiful, doesnt look cheap at all. Havent had it blow inside out yet from the wind. Love that the button release allows me to run down into the subway without having to fiddle with the umbrella. And the Yellow is bright and cheery!

Additionally, the umbrella is not strong enough to handle severe winds. It has flipped inside-out on one occasion and often gets blown around when the winds are strong. Overall its a good umbrella that looks nice and would be perfect for people who need something to stay dry in the average storm. For anyone looking for a large, extremely sturdy umbrella for stronger storms, you may want to keep looking.

This is a very nice umbrella. Very sturdy, but I dropped a star from 5 to 4 because its quite heavy and bulky for a woman to put in her handbag. However, I still recommend it, because the cloud design on the inside is interesting, and also because I saw the exact same umbrella on a big well known department stores web site, and the identical umbrella was going to about $60 more. Amazons price for this sturdy umbrella is worth the price.
