This thing is hefty! It has a good weight to it and it is incredibly well built and sturdy. Unfortunately for me, and maybe this will help others out there, the predrilled holes will not fit a Humminbird Helix 7. I have the G3N and the holes do not meet up. There are also zero hardware included so youll need to make a trip out to your local hardware store to pick up some stainless steel hardware. You will also need to come up with a creative way to make it work with your mount if are planning to run this on a helix 7. Other than that, it is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy mount.

Easy enough to mount and very solid; love well built stuff; holds my Lowrance HDS 7 ($$$). I havent really taken the bass boat in high wakes yet so Ill let you know if it fails but so far so good.
