RAM Mounts RAM-B-252U 11mm Bolt Head Adapter Ball Base with B Size 1 Ball

I purchased this ball mount to hold my iPhone on my motorcycle. I attempted to mount it using one of the bolts from my handlebars, but it broke as I tightened the bolt down. The metal Ram uses is light weight, but is also not able to withstand a lot of pressure. The products Ram makes are for motorcycles and vehicles so you would think they would make them out of a higher quality material. I have other Ram products and am very happy with them, but this one should be made with a higher strength material.

I used this on my Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager mirror to mount my iPhone using X-Grip. No issue.

mounted this to the lower dash receptacle and the appropriate RAM ball arm and mount on the other= my Android is held firmly in the JKU Jeeps dash top storage bin without even a jiggle or movement.

All of the RAM mounts are quality, this is no exception.

Ram mounts are great and I use them all the time on my bikes. The only beef I have is that they are costly. Ram has a patent on this design and is certainly monopolizing on it!
