Ranger SRA-198 Ranger Cb Ham Radio Noise Canceling Mic 4 Pin Wired

The reviews said built like a tank. They werent joking. Its solid, weighty . They also mentioned how close it had to be to be used. I didnt notice that too much. Im pleased with it and it will now be my go to mic.

Did not work with my Galaxy CB. Wasted my money. It was stated that it didnt work for many radios. I took a chance anyway. It worked great for a few weeks then guit

Passive (no battery) and noise-canceling. I use two of these. One in my personal vehicle, and the other in my work truck.

I like the way it feels in the hand and I like the way it sounds used to always use in astatic these are cheaper and they sound better and they seem to be built better every radio I have has one of these

Item doesnt work very well. (very hard to hear person on other end) Broke after 4 months wires came out of unit

I bought this to replace my stock Cobra 4 Pin on my 148GTL. It is a very good microphone. I get good signal reports at work and it is very comfortable in my hand. It is stout without being over heavy. Would definitely recommend.

Mic is built rugged. Havent seen a mic built like this in quite a while. Mod is clean and clear. Use mic as instructed mouth on mic guard. I run it on a Stryker 447 in my semi and it will swing the meter. I did notice I had to crank up my mod on radio to get it to talk. Figuring probably due to noise CX feature but got it to talk strong. Compared to stock mic this seems to have slightly more bass thus creating better swing on TX. Thinking of getting another for my Connex 3300HP

Actually better audio than my trustworthy Road King RK56, with excellent noise cancelling.
