All I can say, is come and stay with us at our B&B (private) when COVID is over and you can see for yourself how impressive these latches are. I do not often write such reviews . . . but, when credit is due, one must do what one must do. Solid hook and latch. My wife and I created a small wine cellar in our home and I had one idea on how to use a part of this hook and latch, for wine barrel curtains, but my wife had a better/creative idea. Its a solid product so Im sure it can secure doors, we just had a different purpose for it.

I liked the ease of installing these hooks, they each only came with 4 screws for each hook set. I thought that would make it less sturdy but it was very sturdy, I use it on my bedroom door while I am away so my dog doesnt get in my room and cuddle in my bed and she hasnt been able to fadangle her way into my room so bless.

Loved it the screws were slightly short so had to use others for our metal door but the lock and material is well made, heavy better quality than expected

This is the heftiest latch of this type I have ever used. I have one set of heavily trafficked outside doors in the snowbelt in NE Ohio and was going through about 1 or two of the cheaper, self tapping latches a year, not to mention them pulling out of the wood forcing me to make new anchor points. With the two screw base plates and overall beef, I think the doors will need replaced before the latch.
