I, too, love it when a poster of the puzzle is included in the box. In this puzzle, issued in 2014, is it, but it is small because the artists bio is included, and that steals horizontal space from the picture. I discovered that you can search for the puzzles(s) on the Ravensburger website and download a larger color landscape poster, about 8.5x11. This option is only helpful for those with a color printer unfortunately. I also hate it when Ravensburger teases us by obscuring the picture on the box cover with little Ravensburger doo-dads. But I got used to it. There are some miniscule pictures of the puzzle along the side edges of the box that reveal the missing bits. That all said, Ravensburger is an outstanding puzzle publisher. The color reproduction is hi-rez, the subject matter is interesting, the tiles are quality material and slip together smoothly, and there are always degrees of challenge. That being said (again) I avoid the Ravensburger puzzles from Target that come in an 8-inch by 8-inch square box. Ravensburger tells me that they have an exclusiver arrangement with Target that permits Target to sell these puzzle versions. The quality of the reproduced illustration seems pooer (to me), and made working this Target version frustrating. But--the Target versions, when available, seem to be half the cost.

Very high-quality pieces and clear image. Pieces are locked in, no loose or gap between.

After getting stung by Chinese puzzles, Ravensburger puzzles are very refreshing ....colorful, study, thick.... lots of fun!!

After getting a few generic puzzles I went to work on finding a good puzzle maker. Ravensburger is highly recommended by many websites. Id say its fair. The pieces are thick, printing/photos excellent, the size and shape are really nice. What Ive found though is at least 2-4 pieces in every brand new box had cutting imperfections. Sometimes the tops layer is already coming up, sometimes the bottom layer is peeled away. Other pieces the cardboard is just plain bent. Randomly we may receive a poster inside the box of a complete puzzle so my wife and I can both reference something (poster + box) but most of the time it does not contain one. Weve order 6 puzzles and because each box has had quality issues I cant imagine Ill every buy a Revensburger again.

This was a challenging puzzle and gave my family a lot of joy to work on. The amount of details, different colors and complexity of the design made you work hard to make progress. You always feel a greater sense of accomplishment when you felt challenged. We also loved the way the pieces perfectly fit together.

We love Ravensburger Puzzles and have ordered many. This puzzle, unfortunately had a lower edge piece missing at bottom of colored pencils. Ive waited to write this until I completely finished the puzzle just in case I missed seeing it. Nope - not in the box. Its the only time weve had a missing piece in a new puzzle and wonder if other orders of this same puzzle had the same missing piece. Otherwise, we love this puzzle brand!

With Ravensburger puzzles, there is no complete picture of the finished puzzle. Even the cover picture does not completely show the entire puzzle. Remove the logos from the cover to show the entire complete puzzle. This picture does not allow the customer to see if the underlying image is 2 pieces or how the pieces meet. On the cover you need to show the completed puzzle or have a separate picture in the box that shows the completed puzzle,

This puzzle was fun to put together. Always a surprise you didnt see earlier. Not a drab boring picture. We look forward to the next puzzle.

First of all, all the pieces were there! That was a relief. Great quality. Very small writing. I bought a LED magnifying glass. The puzzle was very challenging, but addictive. Most of the 1,000 piece puzzles that I do are larger in size so the pieces seemed small to me. Once I got different sections started, I didnt need the magnifier much. Kudos to the artist and all the fine detail. Amazing.
