I bought this to replace the stock keyboard that came with my computer. The keys are not as loud as I thought they would be and the feel is good. There is not a lot of pressure needed to press the keys down and it really makes typing a joy. Now that all my peripherals match the RGB can too, which is just a perk. Overall I think this is a great basic gaming keyboard as there are no macro keys or other higher end add-ons like a scroll wheel and such.

Great product. I use this product for both work and gaming and it works great with both. Amazing response time with the keys and great RGB for aesthetics. The only thing I would recommend is getting the keyboard with a built wrist pad for better comfort and ergonomics.

This keyboard is a great addition to the Razer ecosystem of high quality, reliable products. I thoroughly enjoy using this keyboard when coding and playing games. The customizable RGB is quite enjoyable and I love having all the chroma synced on my Razer products. I currently have the Razer monitor, mousepad, mouse, and keyboard, headset, and have Razer speakers in the mail and on their way!

Okay it has RGB, a lot of RGB and fully customizable with many aps, including of course Razer Chroma Studio. It works well with MSI Dragon Center and is compatible with many games that support Razer products, such as; Apex Legends where the keyboard goes ballistic as menus swipe rapidly, so does the colors on the keyboard. I mean these effects can be turned off but they are fun and can be a conversation starter to anyone who sees your setup for the first time. Having said that it types pretty good, not the greatest experience for obvious reasons; because well its very tactile and more aimed at gaming. Its clicky but not as loud as you may think, still loud enough but satisfying, at least to me. However others may prefer a more linear switch. Razer greens are like blue switches, but far smoother, giving you just the right tactile feedback you would expect. There are some moments though where you can lose a little control and edge if your in the heat of a battle, which is common with any keyboard but with stock keycaps this is all too common. Razer does however sell better caps and if you value your symbols lit under F1 through F12 and under your numbers 1 through 10 (- or =) you might want to pick up that kit. Its not a horrible experience but it can be irritating in certain scenarios. Other than that the build quality of this keyboard is top notch, well weighted with heavy quality materials that just feel good. The lighting is bright, but note Razer switches only light up on the top and there is a white background under the keys that actually spread the lighting evenly throughout the keyboard, giving it a more Tron like glow. Individual keys can be custom lit, even the Razer insignia on the bottom, which to me is really cool. Theres not much more to say other than this is a mid-range option from Razer that has a real premium feel and will probably feel even better with custom keycaps. Im impressed with the board overall and it feels like it will hold out well over time. I would highly recommend picking it up. 4 out of 5.

Not only is the software a bit cumbersome to use, it takes forever to load and is constantly needing to be updated. It does not seem to have any way on the keyboard to set basic patterns or colors like my old one so I have to use the software. Also every now and then it seems to not detect a key stroke. It could be me, but I dont think it is. I have never had the problem before on other keyboards. It slows my boot time greatly.

This is coming from someone whos never had a technical keyboard in their life. Ive never even typed on one before. Upon receiving this product and pressing my fingers on the keyboard it was such an satisfying feeling I went straight to notepad and just typed for like 5 mins straight haha. I went with the Green switches I love the clicks as I type. Its satisfying too when im typing fast. I got this renewed with no issues at all got this bad boy super cheap. Will definitely be picking up other razer products if theyre great like this, this is my first razer product also! I lvoe the stickers that came with it, I was surprised to see preowned product include stickers. I also noticed I type a little faster with this bad boy too so thats a plus.

I really like this keyboard and the clickyness. However, the special symbols on the number keys do not illuminate. Why not?

this keyboard is extremely good and i love it a ton but with recent sales this keyboard isnt good when you have the new razer huntsman for only 10 dollars more and with less actuation time then this keyboard i wouldnt suggest it, but in the future if this keyboard is really cheap and the huntsman is 150 dollars again then i would suggest it to anyone that comes across it, but ONLY if the huntsman isnt on sale because this one isnt worth it otherwise.
