Razor Spark Kick Scooter - Spark Bar, Lightweight Aluminum Frame, Foldable, Adjustable Handlebars

Please post this review regarding the razor scooter for Corey. In 2002 I had a scooter and loved it! I rode it everywhere and found it very durable. My son was begging for months to get a Sparkle Scooter. Upon reading many reviews, I found many parents saying their kids scooters were falling apart. I thought they were crazy. This Christmas, my son got the Razor Sparkle Scooter and in less than a month the foam grips are ripping and the things that should stay tight dont. Yesterday he noticed his front wheel was loose, so we tightened it. Today at the park it fell off and the necessary hardware is lost. Very disenchanting for an expensive scooter like the Sparkle Scooter. As you can imagine, hes very disappointed that his beloved scooter that he saved for (long story) is now parked until we order new hardware. Also, as expected, the sparkle pack doesnt last long. Hes been through three and is on his fourth in less than a month. I did expect this, but just wanted you all to know. I give this product one star and would not recommend to a friend. Too bad. Scooters are so fun and i think they used to be well built. Jeep manufactures scooters, as well as other companies. I plan to read those reviews before I buy another scooter for myself, as I was planning on buying one soon. My daughter and my grandson live in a different state from me, so I ordered his most wished-for Christmas gift, the Razor Spark Scooter, from Amazon. It arrived on time , no problems, but as you can see by this review that my daughter asked me to post for her....it has caused a lot of disappointment for a 6 year olds favorite gift from his grandma! I feel terrible!!

Product arrived on time and great customer service!

Fun little scooter for the kids. My son loves the spark action. But the spark pads do wear out after repeated use. This is to be expected, so just be prepared and buy extra when you buy the scooter. It does come with one extra. The Razor is better made then the cheap knock offs, so I think it is worth the price. Oh, and even though it has the spark pad, the brake on the rear wheel is still there and easy to use. Wear your helmet and pads and enjoy!

I think this is only slightly larger than the one I just replaced, that we used from 5 years to 10 years and it looks almost exactly same. But its shiney and my daughter likes the sparks which work really well. I never saw a commercial in advance so I had no expectations.

I did not answer the assemble question as his Dad did that and I wasnt there.

My daughter loves this scooter. Sparks fly when brake is applied which was a requirement for my daughter!

My grandson loved the scooter; no problems with the scooter, except it was shipped in its original container with pictures of the scooter all over it and was glad that my grandson was not here when it was delivered--it would certainly have spoiled his surprise Christmas gift. HOWEVER, my order also included extra cartridges (three 2-pk Razor Spark cartridges which Amazon and/or Buy.com stated in the confirmation email sent to me acknowedges my two orders, the total charges for both items, and stated they would be shipped together, but were not. Im still looking for delivery of the three 2-pk Razor Spark cartridges!!!
