It was easy to assemble and my brothers love it!

This is marketed for age 8+. I bought for my 11 yo son who is a little 5 ft tall and this is too small. The handlebar does not adjust upwards, so it is essentially one size does not fit all. His foot (size 10) in a sneaker barely fits on the scooter. Not happy with this at all.

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson, and it is a HUGE hit. Handles well for new riders, and the sparks are VERY impressive. Not wimpy little sparks like I was expecting, but sparks big enough to thrill. Several friends in his neighborhood have requested this scooter for Christmas after seeing his.

I bought this for my 8 year old neighbor. He absolutely loved it!! Only thing I was confused about was the hand grips are made to come off. I have no idea why. When he rides it he accidentally hits the button and they fall out.
