Very difficult to find unscented dental tape. Most items are store brand and are floss not tape.

Use this all the time.

Ive had trouble finding Dento-tape for several years. Regular dental floss doesnt work to get my teeth properly cleaned. After looking in retail stores over time, I searched Amazon and found this product. It is a perfect replacement for what I was using!

I am kind of a floss fanatic. I have tried them all and this, in my opinion, is the best. Some glide through too easily and dont pick up the left-overs. Others (most), shred or break or stick between my teeth. I am reminded of Goldilocks and the three bears when I say, This one is just right!

This is the skinny tape, which is wider than regular floss. Ive used other private brand tapes and they just were waxed enough. They would get stuck in your teeth. This is the right balance. Also, their string mechanism is better.

What I like most is the reasonable price when youre willing to buy a 5-pack at a time. I like that it has 2 hooks on top (one of which is to cut the string): this means less chance of the floss retreating into the container than those with only ONE hook, since a bit more floss is left outside the container after you sever the string. (If youve ever had floss somehow pull itself back onto the roller inside & had to try to put it all back together after you pulled some floss back out again, you know how difficult it can be to close the lid so that it will anchor correctly to allow the roller to spin & release string again.) This floss is not quite as wide as tape Ive used previously, but it works fine.

Item arrived on time & as described but it frays & rips between tight teeth. Returning as I cant use it.

Oh yeah this stuff is awesome. If youre sick of floss fraying and breaking on use and leaving tiny micro strands of nylon stuck between your teeth then this is what you need in your life. I personally tried a few different types of floss from various convenience stores in my area and was consistently disappointed because the floss would fray and break before having any effect. This dental tape still breaks, I use about 3 or 4 pieces every time I floss, but you can tell it has done some work before it breaks. Its tape like sticky texturing makes it very obvious if the area you are cleaning still has plaque (or tartar) or is clean. When this floss breaks, though, it doesnt leave nylon filaments in your teeth like that woven stuff. After using this product once I could tell that my teeth were much cleaner and flossing has become a much less timely and more enjoyable process. I also use a waterpik (which I also recommend) before brushing to remove the food from my gums but this tape is what does the real work in my nightly routine. I cant recommend this product enough if regular floss doesnt seen to do the trick for you. I will never go back to regular woven floss from dental tape. One thing I would note, though, is that this floss is much thicker than standard floss. For my teeth that are spaced closer together it is quite difficult to get it into cleaning position. If you have teeth that are very close together with no gap then this product might not work as well for you. I have small gaps between most my teeth and no gap between some but I can get this floss in between every tooth without much difficulty.

I have used this for a number of years since I underwent some periodontal surgery. I used to buy it at Walmart, but they quit carrying it so I checked Amazon and they had it. I love to get it there and it is tax free! It is great stuff. Only problem I have found is that it will shred and catch on your teeth if they are caps.

Reach Dentotape Waxed Tape is the best I have used so far. It is strong enough to get into very tight spaces between teeth without breaking. It cleans very well.
