08-06-2025These Redmond Rocks are much better than Himalayan rock salt in my opinion because there arent lots of wasted chunks that fall off the rope. They last longer (more econonical) and are less messy (less sticky residue left on the stall walls). My horse and pony love them. I gave them as Christmas gifts to my farrier and his assistant this year. They both were very pleased with such a practical gift for their horses. Ill never buy Himalayan salt on a rope again. Too many leftover chunks that I dont know what to do with.
