During the process of replacing my screen, the screen itself has already cracked. This is the more expensive option which I went with because I was looking for a better quality. This is very disappointing to have paid more for it to so quickly crack.

Wouldn’t recommend this screen if you want a functioning home button. The screen is okay, not as good as factor but decent for the price.

Purchase the screen installed it and part of the touch sensors did not work in the middle of the screen, had did it exchanged and the replacement product had the same issues now this in multiple locations. Finally just took the device to a local shop and their screen worked perfectly. Such a waste of money

The old screen was difficult to take off because it has shattered so I was taking a lot off in chunks. Suggest having a large surface area to work on and you will need a vacuum afterwards. Don’t try to wipe the LCD screen with glass on it or it will scratch. I could not salvage the built in button so I used the button already on the screen. However, the tools were great and the screen works great. I have my iPad back for a great price. You have to have patience. It also helps to have a magnifying device as the glass bits, screws and connectors are small, at least for me.

Great video link. All required parts included. BE CAREFUL WITH LCD. I damaged mine removing a bad screw. Steady hands an advantage. Update 12/23/2019. Lost control on half touch screen. Defective after 60 days. May be a fluke, but had to buy another.

You lose touch id
