Most umbrellas Ive had, have to fold, unfold manually. This one, to open, just push button. To close, best to push end of umbrella into wall to help. It feels solid, well made, have used it several times in heavy wind and rain. Looks smartly designed. I was looking for a quality umbrella that folds up small. This folds to maybe 8 to 9 inches long. I wanted something that could fit easily in a pocket. This is not it. My fault, tho, shouldve confirmed folded size b4 buying. If you want something thatll fit into a small bag or purse, or Uber deep pockets, this will work.

The last 2 umbrellas I purchased for my kids (a different brand) lasted nary a week. These feel much more substantial and the one button to open and close is a cool feature. Button is a little stiff for my 7 and 8 year olds to push, but with time and practice they got it. Nice Umbrellas.

I returned them but only because I’m big and fate and this thing is like a child umbrella for me. My ankles and feet still get soaked. BUT the auto open close function was really cool and worked great. I have new standards for an umbrella that’s for sure. Held up good against wind too. Size is the only downside. I’m 5’7 at 210lbs. So I feel like it would be worse for someone taller. Bring your rain boots with you.

I got this umbrella for when I travel. I have a smaller umbrella that I’ve been using, but it doesn’t stand up to heavy winds and turns inside out. This umbrella works great. I used it on a rainy and windy day. It was big enough that I didn’t get wet, and had zero signs of wanting to turn inside out. The push button to open and close is great, and it’s easy to collapse the umbrella back down to get it in the case it came with to keep it protected in my bag. I got the rainbow colored one and love the vibrant colors. I felt like a ray of sunshine on a rainy day where everyone else’s umbrellas were mostly black.

Appears sturdy and well made. This is not a travel umbrella. It’s big and heavy. I travel light and have owned travel umbrellas in the past. This is not it.
