> 24 hourThe description says it has a metal backplate which is much better than plastic. THESE PADS DO NOT COME WITH A METAL BACKPLATE. Plastic will crack and break when the screws attach this to the sander and won’t last as long.

> 24 hourI had a Porter Cable sander the pad went bad on from sitting in the heat. Tossed it and bought a DeWalt...same issues a few years later. Wish I knew about this before I tossed the PC one...these are much cheaper than replacing the whole sander. Bought the two pack so I had an extra one for in a couple of years.
