Replacement 5 Hook & Loop Pad For DeWalt DW421/DW423 Sander 2-pack# 151281-08

This part does not work with the Dewalt DWE 6423 because it attaches with 3 screws and the sander has 4 screws. The photo shows the knockoff replacement part that does not have the correct set of mounting holes.

Seems durable enough but I needed a replacement with the 4-hole setup. I did not realize that until after these arrived and I tried to replace them. These have a 3-hole mounting setup

Purchased these to use on my Porter Cable random orbital sander. It fit perfectly and the hook and loop feature works real well. The sanding pads stick solidly and dont slide or move under extended use. Good product!

So far these worked fine as far as holding the sanding paper itself. One thing to know is that when you remove the original Dewalt backer, it is metal and these are plastic. Not sure how that will affect the longevity…..

These work great on my Dewalt sander. Abd were a great price.

The description says it has a metal backplate which is much better than plastic. THESE PADS DO NOT COME WITH A METAL BACKPLATE. Plastic will crack and break when the screws attach this to the sander and won’t last as long.
