this adapter adapts that strange interior engagement on hinge pin. Did they know about TORX screw standard back then?? However the hinge pin will cost way more than this tool if you damage it trying to get 95 ft lb torque.

This item is a must have and a perfect fit for my Mercruiser Alpha One Generation Two outdrive.
