This is very meh. It functions well enough but the mesh isnt very see through and the construction quality is poor. Like seam allowances jamming the zippers and hanging threads everywhere. The Insect Lore kits that cone with one that looks like this are much better.

I love this purchase. So easy to set up. Easy to clean. The zippers work easily and the caterpillars are loving all the space to crawl around. I had one hatch already and plenty of room for them to dry their wings. I loved it so much I just ordered a second one for Swallowtail caterpillars.

Purchased two different butterfly enclosures this summer for two different sets of caterpillars we were raising. This butterfly home has better features than the other, the netting is smaller (we lost some baby caterpillars from the other one we bought because the netting was larger) and the zip opening at the bottom allows you to open and add anything to the home while chrysalises are being formed at the top. Great easy product!

Caterpillars to butterflies - kids loved it!

Got this for my granddaughter to raise and release butterflies. Worked great, easy to store. Folds flat.

Came with a hole right along the zipper line

My Granddaughter has 7 caterpillars in cocoons right now in the cage. It worked very well.

Super easy to set up. My granddaughters love to check on the progress - it keeps little hands from disturbing the chrysalis. Highly recommend.
