Restored by the Fords, Season 1

I love this show. Super cute brother/sister dynamic and I like the style. Not every choice is my favorite, but it’s cute and interesting and entertaining to watch. At less than 30 min per episode it speeds right along. They don’t insert manufactured drama which is also nice.

This show is incredibly painful to watch if you care at all about historic homes. I actually yelled at my tv as I watched the designer rip out leaded glass windows, paint over beautiful mill work, and graffiti a Victorian staircase (?!) What in gods name... I would hate to be the homeowners when they try to put these restored historic homes back on the market. Mostly I cannot believe people are handing over $62,000 for a lady to spray paint their entire house white.

What is up with the potatoes-in-the-mouth speech style? These two sound like they smoke a few joints before they shoot the show! The video and audio slow down and stop, and I get to look at the spinning white circle for about 15 seconds. Sometimes this happens when the camera is panned on the homeowners faces. They do not look happy. The black pool?!?!?!?!?!?! With little kids in the house?!?!?!?!?!?!? How are you going to see a little body at the bottom of a black pool!?!?!?!?!?!? They are smoking weed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Entertaining. But the sister has one design mode: WHITE. That sums it up. There are definitely some nice design touches, otherwise. Not my favorite, but the siblings are very likable and really sweet to each other.

my favorite of the shows offered.. different quirky fun.. please more seasons.. already bought season one and two.. hoping for more in future.

Leanne is now my favorite designer! I love her artistic touch and unusual ideas. Her and her brother make a cute team.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show!!! I feel that Leanne and Steve are respectful of the architecture and time periods in which the homes were built while giving them the refresh that they need and deserve. Im not sure what the 1 star ratings were about because the design is amazing. Design is personal and perhaps its just not their style. I appreciate how thoughtful they are in repurposing materials where it makes sense.

I watched a show where everything was white. I would NOT want them remodeling my home. The home looked awful. Everything was MUTED by white everything. How do they consider being designers ? Dont care for their designs and dont understand how they have a show
