By far the best of the Dominion sets. We have them all.

This is not the expansion to get for beginners. If you are new to Dominion and would like an introduction I strongly recommend getting Dominion in the following order:

First off the game is only for 2-4 players not the stated 2-6. We got this version over another version because it was up to 6 people. Second, it doesnt say anywhere that this is only the expansion pack! They need better descriptions on whether it is a standalone expansion or expansion pack! Extremely disappointed!

Its tough to compete with the two best rated reviews of this game. After all, I agree with both of them. Im going to give 5 stars, though and Ill explain why.

While Im a bit miffed that they came out with a new expansion (I had a nice wooden box that fit all of the previous cards perfectly), I cant be too mad because...well, new Dominion!

We own all of the Dominion expansions and play regularly. The Adventures expansion is one of my favorite, including Seaside and Prosperity. This box introduces 2 new gameplay elements: some kingdom decks can be upgraded as you play it (each time you play it, you exchange your card for the next one in the progression), and theres some duration-like cards that can be moved off the mat with specific actions, instead of simply being pulled off the mat on the next turn. Both of these changes really enhance gameplay. The set is creative and fun. I would highly recommend this addition to your Dominion collection!

Probably my favorite Dominion expansion so far; it introduces a lot of new mechanics to add into the game.
