> 3 dayFun game that is kind of a combination of checkers and chess. Game takes about 30 minutes , so great brain break at lunch at work, or at home anytime

Greater than one weekBy far the most played game that we have. We have over 60 board games and this one has been the one played the most. We like to play it on teams of 2v2 just like Sequence. Epic game!

> 3 dayChips and pieces are beautiful and solid. I like the weight in my hand. Game is the easy to learn, lifetime to master type. My new favorite game.

> 3 dayThis game is definitely better than Checkers! Ive played at least 30 matches and would play more if I could get others to play it with me more often. Pieces are quality, but they come in plastic bags that cant be resealed. I put the pieces in cloth bags instead. It adds a little character to the feel of the game. No complaints. 5 of 5.

> 3 dayPurchased Yinsh because of the great reviews and it did not disappoint! Also my 11 year old granddaughter beat me the first 3 out of 4 games! It is quick to learn the rules but not so easy to win!

05-06-2025There are several reasons why Yinsh is my all time favorite abstract strategy game: 1. Setup takes less than 5 seconds. 2. No luck is involved. Its all about skill. 3. It incorporates one of the best catch-up mechanisms I have ever seen. Your goal is to remove 3 of your rings, but each ring you remove makes you weaker. Just compare that to chess and other similar games where as soon as a player has a clear advantage, that player is almost certain to win. 4. There are very few rules and the game is extremely simple to learn. 5. Its a super dynamic game. The higher the number of pieces on the board, the greater the tension and the potential for game-changing moves. Very highly recommended!
