Greater than one weekI had bought a white bikini which of course I stained the first time I wore it and no matter what I did the stain would not come out. Someone suggested I tie dye the bikini and I bought this and the color is amazingly rich and the process was so simple. I loved this so much that I actually bought another bikini to dye pink

> 3 dayThis dye works if you can submerge the item you are coloring. Does not work well on furniture unless you can submerge it under heat as instructed in directions. Otherwise it is very difficult to get an even color. Used on chairs but they came out uneven in color and light. I used two bottles of dye and the fixative. Gonna try spray paint for an even look. Recommend if you can follow directions.

> 3 dayIt states it is not for cotton fabric and it is true. It dyes unevenly on pure cotton. It’s a good color and I’m going to try it on some other fabric blends.

> 3 dayI was excited to use this product. My outdoor patio set cushions were sun bleached and didn’t want to spend hundreds on new cushions. I had to buy a large 20qt pot and 4 bottles of dye to complete this project. My cushions are polyester, so the directions are much more extensive (as with any synthetic fabrics). I spent about 3.5 hours dying, 40-45 minutes boiling for each set/bottle of dye, which I don’t think was enough. I should’ve let it soak longer. I also did not have a thermometer to know if my temp was at 200°, so I was guessing what was “below boiling.” The directions are very clear, but complicated. Follow the directions and I think there will be no problems. This will definitely last me for this summer, and it has definitely evened out the color, but I was expecting more, but I blame myself for that.
