> 3 dayWell, if you follow the instructions and stick to then the results are great, I got the three pack to experiment and this is how it went: 1 bottle for only one pants and the result was amazing. 2nd bottle for one pair of pants, one T-shirt and 5 ties, the results were not so great, the pants picked up some color but not completely and in over all none of the items did look as sharp as only using one item per bottle. 3rd bottle, 2 pants and I will suggest to keep them longer and keep moving them so the color reach every inch. So over all I liked the product!!

> 3 dayBought black, followed the instructions to the T. 100% all white cotton dress is now purple. I’m a little confused as I bought black? Luckily, I bought another brand of black dye as a back up, hopefully it can turn my clothes the color (black) I want.

> 3 daybought this twice to fix some bleach stains on a black t-shirt and revamp some worn out black clothes. followed the directions on the bottle, the first time in a tub with boiling hot water sitting for hours and the second time painting on the pure color over the stains letting it sit and dry before stove dying them, even added in a white cotton shirt for good measure and testing purposes, nothing had any effect. the white shirt tie-dyed, the black clothes didnt hold any of the new color and it didnt even make a dent in the bleach stains.

> 3 daygreat product I was able to dye an xl men’s brown suede jacket with just two sessions here’s how to use or atleast what worked for me 1. soak fabric entirely in hot water 2. fill sink/bucket whatever you’re using HALF WAY with hot tap water 3. fill other half with BOILED water 4. add one cup of salt 5. add two tablespoons of dish soap 6. stir until dissolved then add entire bottle of dye 7. add fabric/clothing item and you MUST agitate the fabric for the next 30 minutes straight ! so keep mixing around with tongs or long metal spoon, this is key 8. after 30 minutes drain the black water and rinse fabric with cold tap water, until water runs clear 9. wash in washer on cold with NO detergent 10. air dry or add to dryer and you’re done

Greater than one weekI wear a lot of black and the problem with black clothing is that it fades over time. I’ve been using Rit dye for years to extend the life of my black cotton and denim for much longer than the intended shelf life, which is a great thing if you’re like me and are very particular about the items your wear.

> 3 dayi think the black marks all over my floor speak for themselves and this cotton rug was a dark grey but not quite dark enough to match the black towels for that bathroom and after 1 week of the rit garbage being on my rug it finally got wet after my friend took a shower and made her feet black and my floors look like this. bad product!

> 3 dayThe product did the job but the clothing was very difficult to get the remaining dye rinsed out at the end of the process.
