It’s compact in size and perfect for gaming. It lights up with different colors help with vision when or if needed. I highly recommend this for smaller hands that loves gaming. It totally works for a large hand as well, but smaller hands benefit from it not being as large as a regular size keyboard.

While this is not my go-to size/layout for a small keyboard, I have enjoyed using this one. The lack of dedicated arrow keys is not my thing, but I did not deduct any stars for that since thats a personal flavor thing, and also not a fair critique for this kind of KB layout. I tested this with a couple different games (Terraria and Deep Rock Galactic) and it held up absolutely fine with each one. The switches are smooth and responsive and the keycaps feel nice to type on. I actually prefer the smoothness of these switches to my primary writing KB and am thinking I now need to buy a set of these cyan ones to match that experience. The battery life is excellent; I never even charged it after opening it and have been using it for about a week now maybe 30-60 min a day and havent had to charge it yet. The connectivity is all nice and I also love how this KB has a dedicated on/off switch. Ive had some that dont and it drives me crazy! Its got some weight to it so it wont slide around on the desk, but would be easily portable for a mobile game night (the primary reason I picked this up for myself, actually), and It feels solid and good to use. Highly recommend if you are in the market for a compact gaming board that still gives a nice smooth typing experience.

I picked this up because I have used Royal Kludge boards in the past and was looking for a wireless board for my tablet and traveling. I bought a Royal Kludge RG-928 with a black case, tactile Gateron Brown switches on August 10th 2015 and it still works to this day. The version of this board that I picked up is the Royal Kludge RK61 Plus RGB Edition, white case/keycaps set, and linear SkyCyan switches (Appear to be manufactured by RK). However, the keyswitches will not affect my rating of the board because they are a personal preference. I would suggest buying a key tester to figure out what kind of switches and how heavy of switches you prefer before buying a board. This board comes with the ability to use a wired USB connection, wireless 2.4 GHz adaptor or Bluetooth. The built-in USB hub does not work with the wireless options. I started with using the USB cable to get the board fully charged up and then switched to Bluetooth. It works very well with little to no noticeable latency. Using Bluetooth, you can also press Fn+Q/W/E to switch between multiple linked devices which is a nice feature if you plan to use the board with your desktop, laptop, and tablet for example. If the board goes to sleep, it will take a few seconds after a keypress to reconnect to the selected device which can be annoying. The 2.4GHz dongle has a recessed spot in the back of the board for storage as well. The board is made of plastic, but incredibly solid. I cannot get the deck to flex with any reasonable amount of pressure or torque. It also sits at a natural 22-ish degree angle that you would get with most keyboards with the legs extended. This has no adjustable legs at all, so if you like a more or less inclined board, this might not be the best option for you. The RGB is completely controlled with hotkeys on the board. This is perfectly acceptable because it saves the settings you had set last when you turn it off and on. I have mine set to solid light blue at about 75% brightness. You can do everything from basic solid color to full rainbow puke if that is what you prefer. The included keycap and keyswitch puller is the normal plastic and wire construction type. Simple, yet effective. The keycaps themselves are easy to remove with the tool but not super loose. The keyswitch puller works incredibly well to pull the switches and they come out nice and easy. I swapped every keyswitch on my board from the included SkyCyan (RK) switches to a mixture of Gateron Yellow (3 pin) and Gateron Milky Yellow (5 pin) switches. This gives me an activation force similar to the Cherry MX Browns that I am used to but without the tactile bump. This being said, the switches are not affecting my review, just the ease of swapping them. It took about an hour for me to remove all the keycaps and keyswitches and reinstall both. I only killed one switch in the process by bending a leg when inserting it. It is very nice that the PCB has the appropriate keycap labeled next to the keyswitch to help you reinstall the keycaps in the right positions if you forgot to take a picture before disassembly. The last thing about the board is that it is a 60%. I am used to using full sized or ten-keyless boards. I use my arrow keys and F1-12 a lot in my daily work and games. This is very much something to consider when buying this board as you will have to adjust to pressing Fn to get to the F1-12 and Arrow keys. You can use Fn+Enter to get into Arrow Key Mode, but then you lose your / and ? to Up Arrow. This will be a completely personal preference thing. After a few weeks, I am still using this board as my daily driver. Im probably going to go back to a ten-keyless but I think the days of using a wired board for me are now over. Its so nice to be able to move the board out of the way without dealing with wires. Then if I want to type a long message on my phone I can just switch to the bluetooth profile for it.

Very smooth keyboard. Gifted to my brother and he was ecstatic. He was most excited for this gift!

Was hesitant at first, but as soon as I got it in my hands I instantly fell in love with it. The keys feel great. Can do both wired and wireless and it is easy to switch between the two options. Came with a cord that does both USB-C to C, and USB-C to A. Multiple color modes that are almost endless. Very happy with this keyboard - exactly what I wanted.

I must admit that I am not very tech savvy. I was very concerned that I would not be able to figure this out, but it is surprisingly easy. It is very user friendly and the instructions walk you through how to connect it to the Bluetooth. Other than it being wireless, it works exactly the same way as a regular keyboard.

    * A colorful and cool mechanical keyboard. * I am not a PC game (I play on consoles) but I bought this for my office work as I love the sound of these keys and need a compact one that I can fit in my laptop bag and take with me to the office. * 3 ways to connect I connect over Bluetooth. * Works with Mac OS. I do not try windows but it will work. * Swappable keys * Long battery life. Works for 2-3 weeks for my office work.

Im used to yellow switches, so this keyboard took a bit of getting used to. I found that they were a bit lighter in the top than what my fingers have grown to expect, but over a week of use, I have grown to like them a lot. This keyboard is pretty much perfect out of the box. My stabilizers were a little bit rattly, but nothing that a little bit of bandage and dielectric grease couldnt take care of. I have gotten about a week or so with RGB being on with average usage. The keyboard has no issues waking up from sleep, so I have no issues with setting the sleep mode with their software to be a bit more aggressive than normal. The RK software works well with the keyboard (even over RF) for configuration of sleep, colors, and key mapping. I wish the stabilizers were a bit better out of the box, but these are a quick fix, or replacement if they really bother you. The key caps feel good to type on, and I havent had the urge to swap them out *yet*. The key switches come out with a reasonable amount of force, so if I do want to go back to my yellows that I love so much, it wont be that difficult to do. The switches feel good enough that I dont see myself doing it. If you are concerned about battery life, the USB-c connection works well for direct connection to the computer. The benefit of the direct connection with the USB port on the keyboard reminds me of the old style Mac keyboard from way back in the day. The Bluetooth mode works really well for phones, and Ive had no issues connecting to iOS, iPad-OS, or Android devices with Bluetooth. If there were just a bit more sound treatment, or better stabs, this would be 5 stars. If you dont mind doing a little work to mod the keyboard, than this will be the perfect starting keyboard for you.

This board is my first foray into the 60% layouts. I wanted to get something relatively inexpensive, as my only other board is a GMMK PRO, which is quite a bit more expensive. Other than a very high-pitched space bar, which was easily fixed, I am VERY impressed with this board so far. I have a Keychron K2, and to me, the initial build quality impression is much better, as is the sound. Ive become a bit of a snob when it comes to stabilizers, but Ill say these worked well right out of the box. As I mentioned, the space bar had a very high pitch to it. I cut a small bit of sound dampening material and put it on the bottom side of the space bar, and now it sounds pretty much like every other key...love the ease of the fix. I was also able to quickly find some key mapping software for it, which enabled me to remap a few keys and easily run it on my Mac at work. If I had one nitpick, its that it doesnt have any of the MacOS bottom row keycaps. Ive switched a couple keycaps and mappings, and Im sure Ill get used to it quickly. Ive only had it for a day, so I cant comment on the battery life yet. Im also not a gamer, so I have no idea how well it would work for gaming. So far, for what I use it for, very happy and impressed!
