Greater than one weekThe amp was awesome for a month. As soon as my return window closed, the amp started messing up and no longer works. I should have paid the extra $100 to by direct from Fosgate! Oh and now the seller avSounds is out of business! No wonder!

> 3 dayNice amp, pushing a single 12 P3 at 1 ohm. Doesnt sound as good as my Skar Audio RP800.1 on the same sub but that one over heat after 1 hour of continuous use, this one doesnt break a sweat. It also pumps out much more power than its rated

> 3 dayI have been a fan of Rockford Phosgate for decades. When it was time to do another install for a new vehicle, choosing RF was easy. Performance is fantastic! It runs the pair of RF 2ohm 600w 12 woofers very well. I am nearing the end of their break-in period and have only had the volume up about 75%. They thump better than I hoped for! The amp itself had some confusing instructions regarding the possibility of clipping, but was able to figure it out. It also came with a CD that is used to dial in the signal. I am quite happy with my purchase :)

08-06-2025This is typical Rockford fosgate greatness. Every fosgate product Ive ever bought was nothing less than perfection. This amp was a great deal for the money and it was more than enough power for my subwoofer. I would recommend this amp to anyone.

The Punch P500X1bd is a mono amplifier capable of producing 500 Watts into a 1-Ohm load.
Due to its dedicated low frequency response, this amplifier is optimized for mid-bass speakers or subwoofers only.
With its super efficient Class-BD circuit topology, the P500X1bd will drop some serious BASS! The stealth top mounted control panel not only provides a sleek finished look to the amp, but it also protects the vital controls.
Our custom heat sink design uses high aluminum mass where it is needed most to maximize heat transfer from the output MOSFETS to the surrounding air, keeping the circuitry cool even under high power and output demand.
