Rocksmith Real Tone USB Audio Cable [Ubisoft], Xbox

It worked for a little bit on my Mac book and then stopped working. But besides this little conundrum, overall the cable is really durable and works well with guitar.

Works with the game/learning platform with no issues so far.

My son can rock out on a PC again!

How are you guys breaking your cables in just a few months? I still have the original one since the first rock smith came out and still holding up. Take better care of your stuff and maybe you won’t have to be buying every six months.

Reading some of the reviews here, I was misled into believing that a standard 1/4 to USB cable would work. It will not. The workarounds that had previously worked, no longer do so. Even if some are able to, save yourself a lot of aggravation and spend a few extra dollars on this one. After much aggravation, I order this cable, plugged it in, and saw Rocksmith show up in my device manager immediately. Plugged my guitar in and was off to the races.

This not only functions for RockSmith, but for recording guitar on your PC.

So happy with this purchase. It just works to give an almost latency-free experience of Rocksmith and the Real guitar tones from every song you are learning. Pro tip: Buy Cherub Rock DLC and check the modding community ;)
