These are ungainly. I had to return them because they stretched too far and werent manageable

The fireplace tool set I was given had very long tongs with a large grasp & too hard to use in my fireplace. I needed something smaller but sturdy & this one is great!

We packed these in our camping bag and used them when we had a fire. They were super handy. Considering how inexpensive these are, I am impressed by how solid these are. Im glad I bought them.

Bought this for our new outdoor backyard fire pit. Like it collapses for easy storage.

I use this for our outdoor fire pit. So far, it has worked well. My only concern is related to the construction around the rivets holding the accordion hinges together. While it seems ample, I question the longevity of the product. For now, it serves its purpose at this price point.

I bought it to move burning logs around in my fire pit. It does that. I like that about it. I just enjoy when something I purchase work.

Like how sturdy they are when handling moderate size wood, long enough so dont need to get close

I got two sets of these, one for home and one to use for camping. And they work OK. At least for small to medium logs and shoving things around in the fire. The round nature of the tips can make it difficult to pick up small items like sticks and kindling though. They seem pretty heavy duty as well. Really my only problem with them is they are really really uncomfortable. The handle is too large, with sharp squared off edges and does not fit into your hands naturally and its very hard to keep a good grip on anything because your hand is cramping up. You really need two hands to do anything which isnt comfortable either. I have large hands and my wife has small hands, and they dont fit either of us. Seems like this could have been an easy thing to fix with smaller rounded handles, kind of like large shears. ------ Update: I ended up cutting some black 1/2 tubing, heated it up and slid it over the handles (see photo). This has greatly improved their usability and comfort. If these tongs had come like this originally it would have been a 5 star rating from me.

Sturdy and good quality. Handles do not heat up. It is easy to move logs around in the fire. Definitely would recommended.
