> 3 dayVery good for beginners and general recreational skating. The quality of the construction is good for the price, and the boot is comfortable to wear for several hours. I would not recommend this boot for anyone who maybe tempted to do any kind of aggressive skating. The boot and chassis arent designed for it and judging by their construction I doubt they would take the beating.

> 3 dayMy son began his rollerblade experience with some really cheap (non-Rollerblade brand) skates that had already been very well-used. We got him these Rollerblades for Christmas since those old skates broke a few months ago. He absolutely loves them--they are so comfortable and so smooth. We are all glad, however, that his first experience was on rougher skates because they are so smooth that they dont seem well-suited to beginners. Funny problem, and one Id be glad to have, but there you go!

> 3 dayThese are a soft boot rollerblade which is comfortable. I have a larger foot and they ended up not working out for me. I contacted rollerblade and they got back with me quickly and offered to replace my blades with a sturdier model. They stand by their product and I’d highly recommend them. It’s rare and refreshing to see companies stand behind their products. Thanks!

Greater than one weekThis is my first pair of inlines. I’ve skated quads for years and decided to try something new. They’re fairly comfortable and the rollerblade sizing chart was right on. Measured my foot and they fit nicely. The bearings….. I’m not a fan. Sealed bearings that feel like they have sand in them. Very gritty. The wheels are what you’d expect on low cost skates- not horrible but not great either. Overall, I like them and skate them almost every day. Don’t think you’ll find anything better at this price point.

> 3 dayFYI, I am not a beginner and I never stopped Rollerblading. I had some late 90s Rollerblade Fusion MX skates that started crack along the frame and wanted to get a quick cheap replacement to allow me to keep skating, but give me time to do research before purchasing a more expensive skate. I also wanted to see what the more entry level kind of skates had to offer these days before upgrading. My skating style is recreational trail and urban. I mainly go just to burn calories and be outdoors. Some background on my old skates. The Fusion MX was a top of the line recreational skate back in the day with a super solid full shell, and 3 heavy duty ratcheting buckles. No laces! They are heavy and only accept up to 80mm wheels I believe. Big, clunky, and slow, but SUPER secure! and heavily padded. I got the Fusions second hand in the early 2000s as new skates from my dad who never used them. The Fusions replaced my original Rollerblade Lightnings and were a huge upgrade. These new Zetrablade skates are almost the opposite. Very light, one buckle with laces, but still small wheels I was apprehensive, but once I tried them out AND figure out how to tighten them correctly they did the job! They were comfortable, more secure than I thought they would be, and faster. These skate worked great for the price! However, I still preferred my clunky old skates, because even though these were more secure than I thought they would be, they couldnt hold a candle to my Fusion MXs. Since wearing these skates I have fallen twice, hurting myself in one of the falls. I had to go back to wearing pads and a helmet. I was not wearing them because I had not fallen in 15 years in my Fusions! These skates also feel less maneuverable, they may have more space between the wheels (I have not compared yet) making them harder to turn, and the less support may make them harder to turn as well. While not perfect, these types of skates allowed me to figure out that I probably should be in the Twister XT for my style of skating and I will upgrade to those by next summer. If you are a beginner I would highly recommend these! The price is awesome! As I write this they are even one third off of the MSRP, which would make them even less expensive than the Rollerblade Lightnings were in the mid nineties (another entry level skate). Even the MSRP has to be less expensive if you adjust for inflation (woof, left next get started on that subject). As for the Twister XT, yes I will be upgrading to those, but you may find that you want more of a speed skate instead after trying these out. If you have never tried skating, or are coming back after a long hiatus, I highly recommend these. NOTE: I highly recommend any new skate over old 1990 skates as the plastic gets brittle over time and can crack or break causing a bad crash, I was lucky and the crack in my skates did not cause them to fall apart while skating.

> 3 dayits been 20 years since I went rollerblading, turns out, im still awesome in them! bang for the buck with this model. I can see myself sporting these for awhile, and im not getting any younger so im gonna ride these bad boys to the ground. it does feel a little loose around my ankles no matter how tight I make them, but chances are I just nteed to wear thicker socks or maybe im just at that age where I should be bracing my ankles. I totally forgot how uncomfortable rolling down a street can get, I recommend buy A89 wheels if you plan to do a lot of street bladding, the stock ones are fine to break in the blades, but investing in new bearing and wheels does make a difference in durability, also the A89 wheels are still very comfortable on streets and sidewalks.

> 3 dayI got these for Christmas for my grandson (huge feet - size 13). It was challenging to find skates that come in that size (many end at size 12) so I was glad to find these. He finally went skating with these and I got very positive feedback from my daughter. She says that when he skates, he usually complains that his feet (really his ankles) hurt after a few minutes. But with these, she said he was good for the entire skating session (2 hours) with no complaints. She told me that these skates provide better support without cutting into his legs. I just hope his feet are finished growing.... He loves to skate.

> 3 dayI ordered a mens skate as I have wide feet and was hoping they would run wider than womens. Well... they dont. The balls of my feet were pinched so tight I couldnt feel my foot to balance and move in the skates. Dont buy these unless you have very narrow feet or like having numb balls... of your feet ;)
