Greater than one weekI have been skating since the mid 80s and remember when Rollerblades hit the market in in the late 80s. I saved my money back then to buy this exact model of skate and after I did, I literally put thousands of miles on them and went through several sets of wheels, but the skates never let me down. They are still the same, right out of the box, Rollerblade brand is just the best, I have tried many knock-off versions of in-line skates and they have all been junk with a decent price point. These are the right skates for you, especially if you are a beginning or coming back to it after a long break, there is just enough ankle support to help you out, without feeling like a ski-boot.
