> 3 dayI read through the reviews before purchasing this item and noticed a few reviewers left a 4 rather than 5 star-review because the calves couldn’t fit into the skate or because the skate did not fit the foot right. I have two pieces of advice if you found these reviews and it has left you with the question “should I or shouldn’t I?” You should because 1. Most high quality skates have a latch at the top that allows adjustment of your leg and calf muscle. This skate was no exception. I’m a runner with large calf muscles that cannot fit into long socks up the calf. My calves fit fine once adjusted in the skates. 2. Always buy sizes in skates like buying running shoes: always buy at least half a size up because your feet during exercise can swell and result in injury if shoes do not allow room. Beginners: I recommend this skate because it is sturdy, good quality, and has great balance. Although, as a disclaimer, I am not a beginner.

> 3 dayThese are nice, however I should have ordered a 9 instead of an 8 since I am a size 8 1/2 in shoes. These fit tightly on me and are particularly narrow towards the toes so skating with them was uncomfortable. Not the skates fault as I have wider feet. The laces underneath provide some support. I knew that in-line would be too much for myself, a beginner. They definitely give good speed if that’s what you’re looking for! Also, there is a back break but only on the right skate.

> 3 daySo far these are really good skates, I havent had any trouble out of them, and theyre definitely better than the skates you can rent at the skating rink I go to. A lot of people are saying that these are uncomfortable, all skates are uncomfortable until you break them in, but personally it wasnt that bad. They are definitely worth buying

> 3 dayI bought a pair of these, used and I also bought a pair of OTW brand ones for my sister. There was about a $30 difference, but she didn’t want to spend as much. 100% pay the extra money. These are amazing, comfortable, and smooth. With a lesser brand, your ankle and foot does not have the stability you need to focus on skating. These roller blades, have support, stability, and comfort. I am probably going to put insoles in mind just due to flat feet.

> 3 dayI’ve had to buy and return this two times because the sizing chart was so off. I’m a 7 in the skates at the roller rink and when I measured my foot I was smaller than a 7 on the chart; the 7 def didn’t fit so I got an 8 (I’m a 7.5 in shoes) and my toes were still so cramped they were curling. The 8 fit like a 7 so I have to get a 9 and it’s been a lot of work buying opening and returning these

> 3 dayIt’s been almost 20 years Since my last attempt at trying to break bones using this method. I definitely a month later still haven’t figured out how to stop quickly without almost falling. My kids have throughly enjoyed watching my attempts at trying to relive the glory days. My knees are happy that we don’t run as much but my feet aren’t as comfortable. Overall I’d do it again.
