To soft of a wheel I got a flat spot 1st time I went skating,

Im not big on reviews..but I had to for these wheels..I was on my second pair of skates and was still not pleased..got me some Chicago skates because Im not experienced enough to invest a huge amount in some skates but someone said it might be the wheels. I agonized on which ones to order since Im working from no skating experience but read the reviews and got these skates and the Rollerbones bearing...man listen. Im gliding like butter on my skates..so glad I order these.. the new wheels and bearing was more than the skates and totally worth it.

wheels were labeled as new. but the wheels I received were used and cleaned up to appear new.

1 year update review. These wheels are such a great deal for what they are. I’ve been riding the same pair for almost a year now. 90% rink and 10% park skating. These wheels are still rolling strong. With occasional rotation they have worn very evenly. Aside from horribly flatspotting one wheel during an emergency stop, I haven’t had any problems with them. They are a really hard wheel and you will feel it in your feet if the surface is not really smooth. I love the way they slide when I want them to and they do have a nice “bark” when doing hockey stops and powersliding through the corners at the rink. I would recommend them for anyone thinking of transitioning to woods or fibers. This wheel has just enough grip to maintain confidence but can still slip and slide when pushed. YOU WILL DEFINITELY WANT TO USE A BEARING PRESS TO GET THE BEARINGS IN (If you skate a lot, just buy one, makes life a lot easier.)

Tested them out last night at a rink with a hardwood floor. Wheels with a lower durometer tended to feel a little sticky at this rink. These wheels are FAST. I had to use very little effort to keep my speed up. Just note that wheels that are this hard will sometimes start to slide when you are doing really fast and tight crossover turns. I had to really dig in for my T-stops, too.

Perfect. Just as I remembered when I was skating as a teen over 25 years ago. Mate these with some Reds bearings and your good to go. Smooth rolling.

Good wheels. People say they had issues installing bearings. While the bearings were a snug fit, they still installed just fine and the wheels are exactly what I was expecting. Theyre nice wheels for the price.

Matches perfectly with my new laces. Only knocked off 1 star because one of the wheels was a little cracked off when opened the packaging.
