Too much fun

I dont own the Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival game. I love the main series of games so much that I couldnt pass up paying around $4 for an Animal Crossing collectible.

Asked to sit next to me, said no, still sat down and asked me personal questions. Why?

It works and its sitting on my desk as a nice decor.

Exactly what you would expect from an amiibo. The ears are SUPER pointy, like a ridiculous amount. You could legitimately get hurt from how pointy these ears are. Keep away from small children.

I got this because Rover is my favorite Animal Crossing character, and also to try out using it in Animal Crossing: A New Leaf - Welcome Amiibo. I was playing the tetris-like Puzzle League block game in the in-game 3DS, and Rover will give you Blight, the ability to wipe out all blocks of one particular color. The newer 2DS and 3DS systems (in real life) will allow you to scan an amiibo right on the touch screen, no other peripherals needed! Which is really cool. You can also use AC amiibos with the in-game Wisp genie lamp to call the character into the game.

Smaller then normal Amiibo , but cute and good ship! DID NOT work on Mario Kart 8 , to unlock the Animal Crossing suit but still cool !!!!

Despite trying to resist when they first came out, I succumbed to the Amiibo bug and bought several across various Nintendo series. I love Animal Crossing, and when the AC Amiibo started coming out, they were hard to resist. I think both Nintendos manufacturing for the characters has gotten better than the first gen Smash Bros. and the simple Animal Crossing characters seem to lend themselves to the toys. I got both Blathers and Tom Nook, and told myself I was done with AC Amiibo, but between Animal Crossing New Leafs Amiibo update, and the price drop for Timmy and Tommy (in their cute Japanese apron outfits - I wish Tom Nook came in that outfit, rather than his realtor sweater) it was hard to say no. Certainly, compared to some of the Smash Amiibo which work across many games, the AC Amiibo are a little more limited (to basically Animal Crossing New Leaf, Happy Home Designer, and Amiibo Festival), but part of the joy is getting to own physical versions of your favorite characters. And in that, Im super happy I got this Amiibo.
