I like the ease of changing the nest box. Just throw the old one out and insert a new one. Don’t have to scrape out gunk that loose bedding allows.

We have tried all sorts of material for our chicken coop and nesting boxes. These hemp squares are by far the easiest to swap in and out and the girls love them. So very worth the money. We change them out about every six weeks or so though they could likely last longer if we chose to wait. Highly recommend. We throw them in our compost pile when were finished with them.

These things are absolutely awful. They dont fit my nesting boxes. My chickens dont like them. Theyre messy as all get out. Never again!

My chickens prefer wood shavings. They throw these mats out of the boxes. And Then I started using chunks of the mats because I paid for them.... that works better. Less dust.... yes.

They fit perfect and my hens don’t scratch it out of the nest.

So far Im pretty pleased with using these nesting pads. I switched over from plain straw as my hens just like to make a mess and most of it wouldnt actually stay in the boxes. Theyve been in there a few days now and my only slight disappointment is that they seem to come apart pretty easily. I can tell most of them wont last long, which is kind of a bummer with the pricetag. I used about half the pack just installing them, so if they last about a month, Id consider buying them again.

My chickens love these nest box liners and it makes cleaning up and keeping their boxes clean and comfy easy!!

I love the nesting pads what a great invention I will add shaving as they get dirty kinda like doing a deep liter on nest
