> 3 daySo far Im pretty pleased with using these nesting pads. I switched over from plain straw as my hens just like to make a mess and most of it wouldnt actually stay in the boxes. Theyve been in there a few days now and my only slight disappointment is that they seem to come apart pretty easily. I can tell most of them wont last long, which is kind of a bummer with the pricetag. I used about half the pack just installing them, so if they last about a month, Id consider buying them again.

> 3 dayMy chickens prefer wood shavings. They throw these mats out of the boxes. And Then I started using chunks of the mats because I paid for them.... that works better. Less dust.... yes.

> 3 dayWhen we first got chickens I ordered several different nesting box liners. Coco fiber. Astro Turf style. And these. I put a combination of all of them into the 5 nesting boxes. 2 coco, 2 turf and 1 only these. I’d venture to say that 90% of the eggs laid in the first few months were on the 1 mat of this type. Every girl want to lay on these. Rarely on the other two types. I’ve since pulled all the others and replaced them with these. They aren’t washable like the turf ones but they are compostable and cost effective enough.

> 3 dayThey are triple the thickness of Happy Heb brand that I used, and they are about 3” larger all around. My hens love them! Definitely worth the price.
