A very nice RV fan unit. This is way better than the noisy one speed on/off pushbutton fan that my travel trailer came with. Installation is easy and straight forward. The interior trim is tall enough to fit my 5 1/2 inch ceiling. Some models only have a 4 inch capability. Operation is straight forward and logical. The only issue I had was the lid was stiff and jerky when opening it. I sprayed some lube on the place where the arm lifts the lid and it smoothed out. The bug screen is heavy duty mesh and easy to remove to clean. The instruction manual is better than most I have read lately. I highly recommend this unit to add a fan or replace an existing one.

The factory vent on my RV was so brittle that the screen kept cracking, and I needed to use tape to hold up the screen were the tabs had broken off. The suns heat coming through the clear (well, crazed and a little yellowed) dome made the bathroom uncomfortable. In addition to all that, it was very loud. This one has a tinted dome that knocks down some of the heat, is made from a heavier plastic throughout, and the fan has multiple speeds – all of them quieter than what I had. Installation was easier than I thought, getting the old sealant tape off with a putty knife was probably the hardest part of the job. After that, it just drops in, screws in, and new tape is applied. The trim goes in from the bottom, and the wires get connected – done. It has a switch for the speeds - which I like - no remotes to lose, misplace, or get dead batteries. And did I mention that it is quiet?

Ok first off this install went much faster and easier than I thought it would. I got this to replace the vent and fan in the bathroom of my 20 year old camper. With the wiring already there it only took about hour to install this fan/vent. Now lets talk about the power of this fan. Its amazing!! The bathroom is in the far back of a 21 foot camper with the fan on high exhausting the air you can feel the air being drawn in the window in front of the camper. I can see how this fan will definitely move alot of air in or out of the camper. Would 100% recommend this product

Installed myself . Look online for tutorials. Runs nice and quiet on speeds 1 thru 4 5 and 6 bit loud but moves lots of air. Its reverseable for airflow. Draws about 2 amps on full speed 6
