> 3 dayIll be putting this roof fan in an ambulance conversion build that Im working on. I was looking for a fan that fit my main design principle: Simplicity. This fan has a crank for the lid, and buttons for speed and flow direction. Thats it. Some might look at the simplicity of the device as a con, after all you can find much more feature rich roof vents. Other fans have remote controls, powered lids, even rain detection for automatic closing. Those are great features in theory, but they are also all unnecessary things that cost more and can break in the future.

> 3 dayEverything went well replacing the old one. Seems to be working fabulously! Quiet and pretty powerful. The only issue is the screws that come with it. They are very cheap and the heads kept breaking off (3 that I tried) and it was hard to get the screws out after that. I had to use the screws from my old vent.

> 3 dayLet me start off by saying that I haven’t installed this yet as the weather hasn’t been conducive enough for me to take on this task, but I did wire it up in my garage to see how the light and airflow worked.

> 3 dayThe vent was very easy to install. Sealing the sides is something I have been more concerned about even though it did sit nice and flush. I used silicon and RV tape on top of it to ensure that it doesnt leak during a down pour. Overall the fan sounds quiet and it works like it should.

> 3 dayI installed this fan over our RV bed, something that is very important in warm weather without air conditioners running while boondocking. We call these fans a Poor mans A/C. They work well when you get caught in the heat without a place to plug into.

> 3 dayWe replaced a non-working fan on our travel trailer with this one and it works great. It was simple to install, and I love how quiet it is compared to the other one we had. This is a great option for a replacement or upgrade for your fan.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these fans for my van, I hd an RV specialist install one and it does not work, we checked over all the wiring to ensure it wired properly and nothing, this was wired directly to 12 volt battery with nothing else wired to it, now we have to remove it and send it back to Amazon, this is a total inconvenience to us,
