Works for heavy #12 wire cord for longer runs for 20 amp going to RV. I carry a 100 ft 12 wire cord and dont want to use 25 ft #10 wire 30 amp cord in line it plugs right into trailer plug.

My camper came with a little adapter for 110v that plugged into the wall but used my 30A cord. This adapter allows me to use a much smaller 12/3 cord to plug in my camper while at home, and that cord is so much easier to manage

This unit was purchased to supply power to a communication trailer. This allows power to keep battery tender and block heater operational during the cold Montana winters. Good for any 50amp unit that requires power for storage or prepping.

Bought as a tool for our shop

Exactly what I needed for quick hookup at home. The screw on part & twist lock action connecting power directly to RV seems secure but doesnt look as sturdy as original equipment power cord screw on ring. Ill handle it with care so as not to break it. Its very handy, allows me to leave heavy shore power cord stowed between trips to plug into regular house current. It wasnt expensive so if it breaks Ill get another one. Very convenient, hope it holds up.
