> 3 dayWe have an old metal roof that was put on in the sixties. As you can imagine, we have to patch it up quite often and deal with leaks. We have found that this type of tape does wonders and helps us extend the life of the roof a little longer so we were interested in trying this particular brand. Here are our thoughts: We like how thin it is in width because it makes it easy to maneuver between tight spaces. We put this around the outside lining of the roof, underneath the corner of the siding and it fit just perfectly. This truly is waterproof. The outer layer of the tape is waterproof but there is also the putty underneath that is attached that helps secure a water tight seal. You can even switch it down and mold it to the shape you need for further sealing. We are all around very happy with this and will most likely be purchasing this in the future. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayWe have an older metal outdoor shed with metal roof that has started to leak over the years. We used this butyl tape and it worked fantastic at repairing our areas and keeping water out! So thankful to have found this option! Will continue to repurchase as needed!

> 3 dayIve never used butyl tape before and I have to say Im sold. I needed to seal up a hole on a RV battery box around the cable and this was perfect. Easy to work with and mold to what I needed. I did put it in the fridge first as per others recommendation.

> 3 dayI used this on my fifth wheel trailer around one of the windows where I noticed water has been coming in, I cleaned the area then I put it around the window and it stayed on pretty good so I hope when it rains it will keep the water out. I like that it is easy to use and it is a quick fix, the amount of this product is for small areas.

> 3 dayI have only used a little bit of this but it works great. Its sticky and just the right width so I am happy. I have this for any future repairs or leaks so I am keeping it in the box it came in, which works out nicely since some of the other types do not have a good storage option.

Greater than one weekThis stuff isnt exactly fun to use, but if you have a job that calls for it, like sealing around a door on a trailer, this will get it done. Just be sure to clean and prep the area and if possible have a helper that can hold the roll for you. You want to get this right the first time because trying to move and adjust it is next to impossible, not a fault of the tape, actually a bonus - you dont want this stuff to move, you want it to form a good seal, which this definitely does.

> 3 dayAnyone who owns an RV knows you need to keep some of this handy to make sure your RV stays watertight on all of the outside compartments. This is good quality - its nice and pliable, but has good adhesion.

> 3 dayI love how easy this is to adhere to the windows. The adhesive that they use for this stuff is outstanding! Its been on for just a couple of weeks but it has been extremely cold where I live. Works great and is easy to put up. I dont recall any instructions that were in the plastic bag that it came in though. I would buy this exact one again when needed again.

> 3 dayWe have an aging RV trailer, and the caulking has dried and cracked away, causing some leaks. We cleaned out what we could and used the butyl caulking tape to seal the gaps. It is easy to work with when its cool; gets a little sticky when warm, but you can always throw it in the fridge and make it more firm again. The installation is going well. The tape looks great (only no one will see it). And only time will tell how long it lasts, but were hopeful for at least a year or two.
