This brushed metal vertical laptop stand is rock solid. That might be because it of its heft. An Allen wrench is included for adjustment to perfectly fit your laptop. Its got a rubber bottom to make sure it stays in place. Cant think of any negatives. Great for storing your laptops on a shelf. Also perfect for your desk if you want to use your laptop with an external monitor and dont need the built-in screen.

Very sturdy with adjustable width so your smaller or thicker laptops can still work. I have a lenovo and MacBook in mine and they have no issues with over heating or stability. The stand has weight to it also so a single laptop wont tip it over. Well worth your money if you want a vertical stand to save space.

I use this for my 16 MacBook Pro and 12.9 iPad Pro. Keeps it upright and sleek looking.

I ordered this for charging my kids school Chromebooks because they always had them stacked in places where they were either likely to fall or likely to have something dropped onto. This helped keep the chromebooks out of the way and saved space at the same time. The unit itself is heavy and base is covered in a grippy rubber coating that keeps your furniture from getting scratched and also keeps the base from sliding around, with or without laptops inserted the base stays in place. Its made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and has smooth finish that looks good anywhere you keep it. The distance between the plates is set with an included allen wrench that youll need to keep on hand if you ever need to make adjustments, unless you have another wrench or set on hand. There arent any markings on the top or bottoms to adjust the gap, so youll just need to eyeball it or in my case, I just used a stack of credit cards slightly wider than the width of the hinge side of the chromebooks. If there were anything that I wouldve like to have seen would probably be more ventilation (such as holes or cut outs) in the vertical pieces since these solid pieces of metal limit airlfow.

I have a 14 Dell laptop provided by my workplace and my personal 14 MacBook Pro. For my desk setup I have a Samsung 49 ultra wide that I have connected to a Dell Thunderbolt dock. This stand fits nicely right on top of the Thunderbolt dock allowing me to easily switch between plugging in my work laptop or my MacBook and being able to utilize all of my peripherals between the two machines. Cable clutter is cut to a minimum and theres plenty of free space on my desk now that it is not being taken up by laptops. The stand also looks nice and has a good weight to it being entirely made up of metal. The slots that hold the laptops are adjustable with a set screw on the bottom and have silicone pads on the inside so that your laptops wont get scratched.

So many things these days are mass produced at the cheapest possible cost; oftentimes delivering something far below a quality anyone would want. This item Im sure is mass produced, and Im sure they are making money on it even at current price of $19, but they didnt skimp on the materials. Its very solid metal, heavy (important for holding up your devices) and is lined with a very nice grippy grey rubber. This holds my tablet and ultralight 14 laptop just fine while charging, ready to drop into my go bag on the fly. I read long ago in some productivity book to never store your papers in a stack on your desk or a table; store them on their side so you can leaf through and grab anything, at any time. I like to think this is the new, digital version of that concept.

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical when I first received this product however, it really does the job. It’s very stable, it’s very sturdy and the look and feel of the product is very high-quality. It’s very heavy so there would be a real low, basically, no chance of it collapsing whatsoever. It also looks like it’s adjustable as well so you can adjust the width of the pieces to hold something that might be thicker or thinner on the base. I’ve been using it ever since and it’s been just right for my needs.

This stand is very sturdy and versatile. I use it to hold my MacBook Air and Lenovo laptop behind my monitor. The base is heavy and doesnt move with two laptop on it. You can position the devices horizontally or vertically on it. The bottom is covered with a non-slip material that helps it keep it in place on my desk. In addition, the inside of the stand -the part that comes in contact with the devices- are also covered with the same material that protects the finish of the laptops. The best thing about this stand compared to others is the ability to adjust the width of each side to achieve the perfect fit for each device. There are 4 screws at the bottom for this adjustment, and the package includes an Allen wrench to loosen and tighten screws.
