SABRENT M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink (SB-PSHS)

So I already had an aftermarket heatsink for my WD Black SN850 1TB nvme m.2 2280 SSD that I ordered off Amazon when I got the SSD for my PS5. At the time there wasnt very many options and the 1TB WD Black SN850s with on-board heatsinks were either all sold out or going for a 100% mark up. Thus I purchased an aftermarket chinese heatsink built for going in a PC with lots of airflow. When I went to remove the SSD when this Sabrent heatsink, built specifically for the PS5, came in you wouldnt believe how hot that heatsink was. Even with a a layer of thermal pads sandwiched between the heatsink and the SSD. This Sabrent heatsink does what its intended to do. It creates more metallic (aluminum) surface area for the heat to disperse into and away from the SSD. While still utilizing the negative pressure design of the PS5 to remove heat from the expansion card port. The fan also draws new air over the top of the heatsink as well which helps keeps temperatures in check. My dislikes are that the thermal pad provided and pre-installed to the heatsink feels less like a thermal pad and more like a foam one. The thermal pad only goes on the top of the SSD with this design as well. So if you have a double-sided SSD you might want to find a better solution. My last gripe about the thermal pad is its length. Its short enough to only cover a 80mm long SSD. So if for some reason you have a 110mm drive you might want to buy a different thermal pad as well.

This nvme ssd card has a low temperature reading at normal operation temperature of 37 celcius, which is way lower then the wd black 850 and the samsung evo 850. All three drive were attached to the sabrent rocket heatsink. Find out what strange is the sabrent ssd drive is next to the gpu card and the wd black 850 nvme was next to the sabrent ssd, both were at normal idle state the sabrent ssd is 10 degree celcius lower then the wd black 850 both card were m.2 gen 4 on a m.2 gen 4 motherboard.

o produto resfriou o PS5 de uma maneira geral, jogos no SSD, tanto de ps4 quanto de ps5 simplesmente não esquenta mais!! fico no máximo morno depois de horas. Produto obrigatório pra quem quer manter a vida útil do console!

7100+ (seq read) 5400+ (seq write) in C.Diskm*rk, what else do you need to know? No heat throttling after 5 weeks. Expensive, but since Ill get the performance for the entire life of the drive, worth it!
