SABRENT M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink (SB-PSHS)

The drive is seriously quick. Excellent sequentials, randoms, and mixed read/write. Its not quite as strong on reads in general as the competing drives, but it more than makes up for it with its outstanding write ability.

Perfect fit for PS5! Tested and works perfect with WD Black SN850 1TB. I definitely recommend.

I used this drive in two enclosure for video work on a MacBook. Died with weeks. Thought I had bad enclosures then I watched a Mac tech review that indicated these Sabrent rocket drives and Macs don’t get along. I have since used it as a replacement drive in a windows machine and it seems to be working.

Product is easy to install and does what’s supposed to do. Can’t tell if it makes a difference or not, but Sony says it’s needed, so I installed one.

I needed a heatsink and wanted one designed with the PS in mind rather than something more generic and this Sabrent one didnt disappoint. I picked up a good deal on a Crucial NVME ssd and this works just fine with that keeping it cool. No complaints a few months down the line!

Read the reviews on tech sites. This thing works. The only way to beat it is to run a standalone heatsink AND keep the little ssd cover off the ps5 but Id rather not have diat getting in there. For $20 this is the way.
