> 3 dayWasted a lot of time figuring out either this drive was defective or someone packaged a different drive inside the box and returned it. Mine did not have the Sabrent logo sticker as shown on the drive and also the end was slightly different than pictured (2 notches instead of 1).

> 3 daySince the m.2 I’d installed had a heat spreader I decided I wanted to add a heat sink just incase. I’d been using without this for approx 2 months with no problems , so really just a precaution. Easy enough to fit, though disappointed the edge of the thermal pad was damaged ( god knows how). Screwdriver that comes with it is basic and works - much better to use a proper one than this as it is so thin and hard to twist. Seems quite a bit of money for an aluminium block.

> 3 daySabrent beat everyone to the market with the most elegant and technically correct cooling solution for the ps5 expansion bay. The ssd goes in a sealed off bay with little air movement, so an ssd with a heat sync directly attached, and then closed off in the bay is only going to saturate with heat, and then not disperse it with no passive air to move the heat. With this drive bay/heat sync solution it moves the heat from the ssd to the outside of the enclosure where there is actually passive air moving to cool it. The reality is nvme ssd’s that are being gamed on don’t get hot enough to thermal throttle, but Sony has placed a requirement of having a heat sync on your ssd, so you need to have one simply to fulfill that requirement in the event there’s a problem. Sony could, in theory, deny a warranty claim if you weren’t using one. This is the most effective/best solution for heat dissipation for the ps5.

> 3 dayVery easy to install and fits perfectly and does the job . Been playing on my Ps5 for hours with all my games installed on the SSD instead of console storage and haven’t had any issue with Performance . It honestly feels faster then Sonys custom SSD but it’s still overpriced in my opinion . Saying that I would still highly recommend this Heatsink
