Someone was thinking, and having fun, while designing this product. It works well and it is very cute. The ventilation is semi effective - more holes should be inserted - and there should be more coverage for the forehead. The adjustment should be easier and not elastic as it puts pressure on the head. Five stars, even after theses suggestions, because it is a step in the right direction and there is nothing else I found that is better.

Great for my 11month old who’s trying to walk. Pros: protects head, comfy inside, not tight, great fabric. When she bumps her head she doesn’t get startled which is good. Cons: can’t use it longer than 35-45 minutes… my house stays on 74 degrees btw…my baby sweats in it but luckily she taps her head when it’s time to take off and when I feel the inside it’s wet , poor thing lol but she doesn’t fuss . But overall a great buy and we love it.

My little man is pulling up on everything and falling over backwards on our hard floors. This helmet is worth every penny!!! Its very well made, ridiculously cute, extremely lightweight, AND non toxic, and surprisingly, he doesnt mind wearing it. Now when he falls the crying is minimal or nonexistent! Also with all the holes his head doesnt get too hot. And btw his head circumference is 17 inches which is the minimum size listed and it fits fine.

Absolutely love this little helmet! We use when outside or in the house at times as our baby is still learning to walk. Lightweight, ventilation and so cute. Brings some peace to my mind when using it!

LOVE it! I have a very adventurous 7 month old and when she has this helmet on it really gives me comfort to allow her to be free! Its lightweight and fits perfect. I believe my daughter loves to wear it!

This helmet is so essential to my baby’s health and well being. It adds a lot of safety and security to baby’s household explorations. Baby has toppled over as she learns to gain greater control over her balance and movements. In those many many instances the helmet has been her saving grace. Everything from fast crawling tumbles to sitting/standing/toppling situations are all more easily overcome. This helmet is very well made, airy, and comfortable for baby. Whenever my baby wants to explore she has to wear the helmet The truth is she has NEVER had an issue doing so since day one. It’s her “Freedom” helmet (haha). Parents constantly talk about baby proofing their homes …and very rarely about baby proofing baby. Only downside is that is fairly expensive but then again I don’t mind spending substantially on anything that will protect her most valued organ. It also increases her autonomy as well. Priceless. Improvements: a bit softer inner padding to help with greater impact absorption. Along with a watchful eye this a necessary baby proofing measure. Highly recommended.

This product helped our 7mo old while walking. He had very little depth perception at first and kept falling the same way. But the forehead was not covered and he got some knocks right there in front. Also, this will be hot in summer. We could not stop him from sweating in it in our home. Could not use outdoors. Ordered a bike helmet for that. You will need bigger holes to ventilate it. Does not come with cleaning instructions so used tea tree soap to keep a funny smell from forming too badly from all the sweat. Saved him from lots of bad knocks to the head from 8-11months. Worth the money during the winter months when colder, but be careful not to let your baby overheat in summer. The chin strap could also be a slight bit thicker.

This helmet helps my LO when he is banging his head on the ground and seems to reduce the amount he will do it. Has also saved him when crashing into things while trying to learn to stand and move around. Dislike- wish there was one more chin strap hole, the higher one is tight and the bottom one is big. The velcro is easily undone by LO, tougher velcro or other fastener would be nice
