Greater than one weekSaved our uncoordinated baby many tears when we werent fast enough to catch her. Allowed her a bit more freedom and us piece of mind. Velcro could be a touch stronger, but I assume its for safety reasons..

> 3 dayAt first the helmet fit right and then after a week it seems to have stretched and it no longer fits right. The helmet is loose and if it is loose it wont protect her head. Truly contemplating returning. Not worth it in my opinion. The helmet should be able to adjust but it doesnt give you an option on the inside of the helmet. It is only adjustable on the chin strap.. I dont like this product because several time it has covered her airways thats how loose it is.

> 3 dayI got this for my now 11-month-old son. It took him a while to get used to it. Sometimes, he still fights me when I put it on him, but it has saved his noggin a few times. He likes to head bump when he’s upset, and there were times he would swing his head back. One time, he did it while sitting on the couch, and he fell and hit his head on the hardwood floor before I could catch him. At least now, he has protection, and it’s given me peace of mind. The only complaint I have is that there’s no real ventilation in the helmet. The little holes on the side and in the middle aren’t enough to keep his head cool. However, I’d rather he sweat a little then have him seriously hurt himself.

> 3 dayThis product helped our 7mo old while walking. He had very little depth perception at first and kept falling the same way. But the forehead was not covered and he got some knocks right there in front. Also, this will be hot in summer. We could not stop him from sweating in it in our home. Could not use outdoors. Ordered a bike helmet for that. You will need bigger holes to ventilate it. Does not come with cleaning instructions so used tea tree soap to keep a funny smell from forming too badly from all the sweat. Saved him from lots of bad knocks to the head from 8-11months. Worth the money during the winter months when colder, but be careful not to let your baby overheat in summer. The chin strap could also be a slight bit thicker.

> 3 dayThe helmet is durable and would work if the baby is not super active and do not touch it. The greatest functional flaw is the strap. What is the point of a good helmet if it cant stay on the head its supposed to protect. The strap is not adjustable to fit various head size, therefore a 7 month old with a smaller head can easily remove the helmet because the strap is too long and the velcro cant stay on. If a 7 month old can out smart the strap, imagine a 1 year old or older. My 7 month old have hurt her head twice in 1 week due to the strap not being secure and can be easily removed. It just seem like I wasted money buying something that not capable of doing its job. A clip or buckle would have been a better choice for strap security purpose.
