> 3 dayEasy to install but the came with the wrong bolts/screws to the Tv. Had to run to the hardware store to get the right size/length screws. Other than that this feels sturdy and secure.

> 3 dayHad to get creative with this. I suspect its designed for very large TVs (50+). I used half of a strap to attach a 40 inch TV to the wall. Took a trip to the hardware store to get M4 screws short enough and had to use washers because the heads went thru the holes. In the end, it got the job done. A couple dollars on straps could save hundreds of a new TV and thousands on hospital bills.

Greater than one weekThis is the third time Ive installed an anti-tip system while baby proofing for my very curious soon-too-be-walking daredevil baby, and our first system that is fabric straps instead of metal cables. I struggled to find the studs in this wall (a me problem, not a product problem), and I was scared to drill the stud right next to the outlet since I didnt know which way the wires entered the box and am only now realizing I could have just removed the plate and peaked...but Ive digressed. I chose to mount the wall ends 32 apart instead of 16 because of the outlet. You must attach to the wall 6 below the furniture, which for us was outlet height. The straps seem strong and I like how easily they can be adjusted, unlike the metal cables I used on the furniture. We installed TV->wall. I did not employ the middle bracket because our TV stand is not solid wood and I felt it would cause a dangerous chain reaction if we installed TV->stand->wall. Should we upgrade the stand, Ill reconfigure. At first I didnt think any of the TV side screws would fit my TV, but I just needed to start turning the screw and it fit fine. My only complaint is the same one Ive had for other anti-tip systems: the holes in the wall brackets are too far apart. I want both screws in the stud, but the stud is only so wide and its hard to guess where you are hitting it with each screw. So, unless youre really lucky, youll get one screw in the stud and one in just drywall. Unlike other systems, this one does not offer drywall anchors for this scenario.

> 3 dayWarning. This may be for all devices sold so just be aware. Given TVs can be attached to wall mounts, stands etc my concern may be me being over cautious and the TV manufacturers have very good protection for using a long screw. This particular device has all long screws. In general the TV mounting screw points have a bottoming feature. This feature is such that the screw will feel tight and stop further inserting of the screw. I have a thin (3/4 thick including the screen) TV typical today and is a 65 inch LG. I put the screws in finger tight and carefully used a screwdriver to snug up the screw. Do not heavily tighten the screw as you could break the plastic stop inside the hole that prevents you from damaging the TV screen/electronics. It is possible that you can not tighten the screw in a way that damages the TV I was just not willing to take that risk I would have preferred a shorter screw. With the screw snug the screw is so long I still have about 1/4 inch of the screw shaft showing but this should be fine its still secure (see picture). They should supply much shorter screws that are a length that can snug up the bracket and never risk damaging the TV thus my 4* rating.

> 3 dayI purchased these to help reduce the possibility of having a television and/or the furniture it was sitting on fall over onto someone at our vacation rental.

> 3 dayWorks well and pretty simple to install. Just need to be able to drill pilot holes first into your furniture and wall.

> 3 dayI was babysitting (older) kittens in an earthquake area just after I got this in the I TV (taking care of it for a out of town friend, dont want to break it). Immediately I KNEW I couldnt put off the straps. Having a handheld drill made it VERY easy to attach, in spite of my bad back never liking this sort of thing. Had to figure out right screws for tv, but other than that, easy.
