Not sure how secure this is… the screws that are supposed to attach to the back of your entertainment center are pretty small and I can imagine they might strip out under pretty small loads. I swapped out for a larger screw I had on hand because I didn’t think those supported were sufficient.

This is the third time Ive installed an anti-tip system while baby proofing for my very curious soon-too-be-walking daredevil baby, and our first system that is fabric straps instead of metal cables. I struggled to find the studs in this wall (a me problem, not a product problem), and I was scared to drill the stud right next to the outlet since I didnt know which way the wires entered the box and am only now realizing I could have just removed the plate and peaked...but Ive digressed. I chose to mount the wall ends 32 apart instead of 16 because of the outlet. You must attach to the wall 6 below the furniture, which for us was outlet height. The straps seem strong and I like how easily they can be adjusted, unlike the metal cables I used on the furniture. We installed TV->wall. I did not employ the middle bracket because our TV stand is not solid wood and I felt it would cause a dangerous chain reaction if we installed TV->stand->wall. Should we upgrade the stand, Ill reconfigure. At first I didnt think any of the TV side screws would fit my TV, but I just needed to start turning the screw and it fit fine. My only complaint is the same one Ive had for other anti-tip systems: the holes in the wall brackets are too far apart. I want both screws in the stud, but the stud is only so wide and its hard to guess where you are hitting it with each screw. So, unless youre really lucky, youll get one screw in the stud and one in just drywall. Unlike other systems, this one does not offer drywall anchors for this scenario.

I used this to anchor the television and the entertainment stand to the wall at the same time. Installation was pretty straightforward, with no major complications. Id been considering fastening the entertainment center to the wall separately using the fastener plate that came with it, but using this all-in-one kit ended up being a lot simpler and more flexible, so Im glad I went with that. My one-year-old loves to grab the flat-screen television and pull it toward him, so the straps have gotten a workout. They do loosen a bit eventually when pulled forcefully and repeatedly, but theyre easy to retighten, and with the straps in place, Ive never felt like my child is in any danger of toppling the television. The television I was anchoring was a Samsung F5300, and the included screws worked fine.

Great set that gives you the option of anchoring just a TV, just furniture, or both simultaneously. The thickness of these straps gives it a much more secure feeling to me than some of the steel wire versions Ive also used. You do need a flat surface on the back of your furniture to attach the bracket to. The bracket flares out at an angle where the straps attach, but if the surface you need to screw it into were too recessed, it could be a problem.

Peace of mind with a large TV. I’ve heard horror stories and know how important having a harness is and this is perfect.

Easy to install but the came with the wrong bolts/screws to the Tv. Had to run to the hardware store to get the right size/length screws. Other than that this feels sturdy and secure.

Easy to install. Came with some random bolts and screws, but had what I needed. Took a few minutes to install. Works great. You do need a drill!
