I think this should be mandatory in all vehicles . I watch too many shows where people are trapped in their cars, this will cut you out of a seat belt, break a window & help in an attack I assume

This fit perfectly in my center console of my car so it will be easy to grab in case of emergency. It has a cover over the part that will break the window. It also has a blade that can be used to cut the seat belt in case of emergency.

I havent used it yet as I bought it to use in a possible emergency. It has a very heavy head that I believe will be useful for its purpose. Compared to it, the handle is made of a very light material. The fact that it is made in bright colors makes it easier to be seen in a dark storage areas, such as the front compartment of the car. Its great to have two pieces out of the package and to be used in separate cars.

This tool fits comfortably in my hand. The orange plastic cover makes it more noticeable. The handle holds a recessed seatbelt cutter that will slice through a seatbelt and not your hand. The window breaking end is made of pointed, heavy carbon steel. After punching a hole in the window, use the opposite flat end to break out the glass. I ordered 2 so I could give my daughter one. I am very happy and secure with this tool.

I have seen these in some foreign cars that i have rented. In the event of an accident, you can slice open your seat belt, and break your window to get out. Clearly, will only be used in an emergency situation, but is a small item, easily stored, and a must have. Ive given these to each of my kids, and will get more for my wife and myself. Its an inexpensive thoughtful gift for people you care for. Its well constructed, arrived well packaged and on time.

The plastic material and the colors seems cheap . I don’t expect much since it’s a safety hammer, the most important thing is it works when needed.
